  1. Fold an 8.5" by 11" piece of Star Dreams burgandy cardstock in half horizontally, resulting in a card 4.5” x 8.5" with the fold on the left of the card.
  2. Cut a second piece of Star Dreams gold cardstock to form the triangle. The bottom measurement should be 3" wide and then taper it to the top. I Have the point extending off the top of the page to allow the eye to carry visually.
  3. Stamp the images of Cleopatra and the Taj Mahal onto white cardstock using gold pigment ink and embossing with high detail clear embossing powder. Trim to 1/4" from the edges of the images.
  4. Frame each design by adhering the images to black text weight paper. Trim to 1/4".
  5. Using glittler glue draw on the swirls under the Taj Mahal. Sprinkle Micro Beads from La De Dah over the glue. Allow to dry.
  6. Sign the back of your card and date it.
  7. I use stripes quite liberally. I like the way they allow your eye to continue with the story of your card. In this case I used one stripe and reduced it to give the picture a diminishing horizon.

  1. Fold a sheet of 8½” x 11” bronze Star Dreams card stock in half. The fold will be at the top of the finished card.
  2. Cut a sheet of text weight striped paper about 3" wide. Position this on the card at an angle approximately 1” from the upper left corner. Adjust until you are satisfied with the angles. Adheer with a double stick tape. I like EZ Runner.
  3. Stamp two images on white card stock, Bemuda #639 and Molly #691. Stamp with black pigment ink and then emboss with clear detail embossing powder. Trim to about 1/4" all around to result in two very nice rectangles. Frame these by adhearing to black text weight paper. Trim these to 1/4" all around.
  4. I placed the Bermuda image on first purposely pushing the top corner off the page. I placed it on the same angle as the stripes. The picture of Molly I placed at right angles to the edge of the card. This directs the attention to this picture and the reader looks into her eyes first.
  5. I then cut off an angle of the top flap of the card. I went up about 1/2" on the right side of the top flap and then moved up the left side to a pleasing angle.
  6. Adhere a piece of black card stock behind the top flap leaving 1/4" exposed.
  7. Be sure to sign and date the back of your card.

  1. Fold a sheet of blue Star dreams card stock, 8½” x 41/2 ” in half. The fold will be at the top of the finished card.
  2. Cut a piece of white text weight Star Dreams stock 3 1/2" x 5 1/2". Cut a piece of striped paper 3 3/8"" x 5". Attach the stripe to the white card stock leaving a 1/4" edge on the top and sides.
  3. With black pigment ink stamp Bird Greeting #251 onto white cardstock. Emboss with clear detail embossing powder. Trim to 1/4" all around into a nice rectangle.. Mount this on a black rectangle of text paper trimmed to 1/4".
  4. Adheer this to the front of the card.
  5. Now comes the fun. Cut a piece of double stick clear tape from a sheet from La De Dah. I cut a triangle, one side the width and one side the height of the white center rectangle. I then cut a slight curve into the triangle. Remove the back side of the tape and stick it over the printed card. Then peel off the second film, exposing the adhesive. Pour on clear micro beads from La De Dah. Press them into the adhesive.
  6. Your card is done.
  7. Be sure to initial and date the back of the card.

  1. Fold a sheet of 8½” x 11” white card stock in half.. The fold will be at the top of the finished card.
  2. With Outlined Tree # 257 and silver pigment ink, stamp several times over a piece of purple velum 8.5" x 5.5" overlapping wherever you want. Three of the trees are stamped in white. Emboss with clear detail embossing powder.
  3. Tear along the bottom of the vellum, from side to side, pulling from the right toward you.. Taking off as little as 1/2" to 1".
  4. Place the stamped vellum on the front of the card. Holding it taught punch two holes in the upper left corner and the upper right corner.
  5. What you can't see from this picture is that I stamped The Tree Border # 242 on the bottom of the inside of the card, so that it just peeks out from below. I stamped this in Silverand embossed in clear detail. To complete the inside I stamped one tree in silver and embossed as above.
  6. Then with silver glitter glue draw a snowdrift under each tree on the vellum.
  7. When this is dry take a nice long piece of 1/4" wired silver ribbon, about 20", and thread it through two punched holes on the top left and then through the top right. You can really play with the wire to get it just right. Trim the ends and twirl.
  8. Sign the card and date it and when the glue is dry on the front draw a glittler snowdrift on the inside of the card.
